Terms of Sale
These Terms of Sale apply to purchases made through Run the Netherlands.
1. The product
We sell printed copies of the book described on our website.
The main characteristics of the book, price and any applicable delivery costs are shown before you place your order.
2. Prices
All prices shown are total prices. As a private seller, VAT is not applicable and is not charged.

3. Orders
By placing an order, you submit an order for the product shown in your basket.
A purchase agreement is concluded when we confirm your order by email.
You will receive an order confirmation containing the relevant details of your purchase.
4. Payment
Available payment methods and any applicable payment conditions are shown during checkout.
Payment is due in full at the time of purchase via the provided payment options. Because the seller is a private individual not registered for VAT, tax invoices showing VAT breakdowns are not issued. A digital receipt or proof of purchase confirming the total amount paid will be provided upon completion of your order.
5. Delivery
We deliver to the countries and addresses indicated during checkout.
The expected delivery period is shown before you place your order or in the order confirmation.
Unless another delivery period has been agreed with you, the order will be delivered no later than 30 days after the purchase agreement is concluded.
We remain responsible for the product until it has been delivered to you.
6. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer purchasing online, you normally have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason.
The withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person designated by you, receives the book.
You may exercise your right of withdrawal through the Cancel / withdraw from an order function on our website, by using the withdrawal form below, or by sending us a clear statement by email.
It is sufficient to send your withdrawal request before the 14-day period expires.
After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must return the book within 14 days.
7. Returns

Unless the book is defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning it.
8. Refunds
If you withdraw from the entire order, we will refund the purchase price and the cost of our standard delivery option.
We will make the refund within 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice. We may wait until we receive the returned book, or until you provide evidence that you have returned it, whichever occurs first.
The refund will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
9. Damaged, defective or incorrect books
If your book arrives damaged, is defective or is not the product you ordered, please contact us at GrandTour@runthenetherlands.com
Your statutory rights regarding products that do not conform to the purchase agreement remain fully applicable. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Applicable law
These Terms and purchases through our website are governed by Dutch law.
If you are a consumer living in another EU country, this does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in your country of residence.
Any dispute will be submitted to the court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
